There was little activity among the local dance companies during our long Indian summer and to open the new season the Ballet Nice Mediterranee gave the most interesting programme with a mixed Triple Bill reviewed by Christina on www.DanceTabs.com. We made two interesting visits to the prestigious dance schools in the region, the Rosella Hightower Academy in Cannes and the Princess Grace Academy in Monte-Carlo. and Christina has written about these in recent issues of Dancing Times.

We both continue to travel and to write and have been happy to receive visits from former company members, now active professionally in the UK, France, Belgium, Germany and Australia. Christmas will be spent again this year in Switzerland.
